How come my bank doesn't have forms like that ?

Apparently Savage, a weird combo of RTS and FPS, just went gold. I was checking out the reviews for the game, since Tycho seems to like it, and I found a beta signup form for it on a site called HomeLAN. It's the funniest form I've ever read.

Apparently, HomeLAN is a site that mediates between gaming companies and rabid gamers. The gamers get to check out the beta version of the game; the gaming company gets detailed bug reports (presumably). However, their beta signup form simply puts my meager qualifications to shame:

How would you best describe your interest in online gaming? This answer will not directly affect your application.
  • Stranger: I've never actually played a game, but I hear good things.
  • Newbie: I'll play my brother's/sister's copy of Counterstrike now and then.
  • Veteran: I've tried a lot of titles. I stop and browse the game shelves whenever I go to rent a movie. I've had a few favorites I've played regularly for months or years.
  • "Pro": I was there on the second beta when no one even had guns! It was knife only! They hadn't implemented guns at all yet. And I beta'd for Super Mario Brothers(tm).
  • Fanatic: I have played everything. I know of every easter egg and bug in every map. I own at least 4 console systems, have nostalgia for early titles and despise "the industry" for tainting such a pure and noble pasttime. I also have no idea if the sun still rises or sets.
What can I say ? I think I have found my new role models.

Actually, the more of their website I read, the more I like HomeLAN. What other company would proudly claim that they don't deal in eyecandy because "...anyone can make a website; any company can type up gibberish" ? I am really tempted to sign up with them just because of that (and, of course, their hillarious beta form)... It's too bad that HomeLAN seems to only have three gaming titles on board, and all of them gold already.
